  • stats & info
Wonderland wasn't always this way. There was a time when it mirrored medieval England, albeit with a few magical elements: a few quirks and eccentricities that made it truly unique. While all feared the Queen's mercurial temper and the fine blade of her Guillotine, all was well, until a little girl named Alice Liddell disturbed the status quo and sparked a revolution. The kingdom began to fall into decay as the taint of the modern world invaded. History is beginning to repeat itself and no one is happy. As the Queen of Hearts tangles in a battle of wits and riddles with the Cheshire Cat, the rest are starting to wonder ... is it true that the White Rabbit is bringing humans to Wonderland when they themselves are banned from going to London?

The Royal Court

taken
37 — queen of hearts — k. russell
the queen, has a steel grip on wonderland and the ins and outs of it. ruthless but playful, she finds amusement in cheshire cat's antics. ~ written by asya
Jacqueline Monroe

38 — king of hearts — m. rhys
the consort to the queen and certainly not as power thirsty, however he also enjoys the show - though he prefers to sit back and watch rather than get involved. currently, he runs wonderland's underground black market for all things london. ~ written by alex
Maixent Monroe

22 — knave of hearts — a. lee potts
the knave of hearts disagrees with how his aunt is choosing to rule wonderland but he doesn't tend to get himself involved. ~ written by eve
Jack Lowell

30 — white knight — t. hiddleston
though the second to swear fealty to the queen, the white knight embodies the stereotype; noble, charming and quick to save a damsel in distress. his ego is perhaps a little large though, especially after learning what a 'white knight' is in the human world, and the significance of that title. ~ written by bro
Lance Chevalier

29 — red knight — j. rathbone
the red knight is the first to have sworn his allegiance to the queen, and chose his colour to appease her. his loyalties are firm, though he's grown a little lax in morals lately, or so the rumours say. he's quite sick of the white knight's boasting, really... ~ written by taylor
Achilles Halden

35 — the duchess — f. last
the duchess is more than pleased with her new form and figure- she's beautiful again as she was in her youth, and her taste for riches and flamboyance rivals only that of the queen, and possibly the dodo. she's one of the queen's more affluent rivals, and has the patronage and affections of the cheshire cat, being his former mistress. temperamental though more likely to bark than bite, the duchess is indeed a formidable woman. a femme fatale, in every sense of the word. ~ written by ?

age in numbers — cook — f. last
the cook still works for the duchess. after london her meals are far easier to digest- though of course, she's still a little too enamoured with pepper, and serves it liberally if she thinks she can get away with it. just don't dare sneeze, or she might beat you with a rolling pin for your disrespect. ~ written by ---

The Notable Figures

taken
34 — cheshire cat — a. scott
he chose his new name aptly, as if one were to ever be considered a true danger to wonderland's monarchy it would be the cheshire cat. after the death of alice he fell into darkness, mourning her perhaps most of all- it's rumoured that he keeps trinkets of hers locked away in his shadowy mansion in tulgey wood. he is above all, unpredictable, cruelty and humour mingled into one man. his motives and allegiance are unknown, but he primarily consorts with the former monsters of the tulgey. ~ written by eve
Judas Alvarez

37 — white rabbit — b. cumberbatch
considered by most to be the sanest of wonderland's inhabitants, it is only the white rabbit that has the ability of travelling between wonderland and london. he is impeccable in his timing and always on schedule. it's a wonder he hasn't lost his hair, though, having to deal with the insanity of his companions. ~ written by asya
Fintan Travers

Taken

thirty — mad hatter — a. prew
the hatter is entirely out of his depth with the changes to wonderland. his tea parties are not as frequent as he would like and the company even less so. relieved upon closing of the portals between london and wonderland, the hatter hopes to brighten his days with tea parties yet again. ~ written by Skylark
Leonard Milliner

29 — march hare — k. solo
the hatter's companion and arguably, just as mad as he is. the hare has always stuck by their hatter, though with the recent changes they've not spent quite as much time together as they used to, they are good friends. ~ written by fini
Ruby Singer

age in numbers — dormouse — f. last
the dormouse did quite well with the surprise of becoming a human, though she was probably half asleep when it happened. she retained the ability to turn into a mouse, and has quite a nasty case of narcolepsy- it's hard to keep up a conversation with them without her falling asleep. she also has a remarkable calming effect on those around her. ~ written by ----
First Last

38 — the caterpillar — n. andrews
the caterpillar is the one to go to if you need a break from the reality of wonderland trying to come back to its original form. with an extremely high tolerance of most drugs, the caterpillar has been able to test for the best quality, the most potent of substances, and can always be trusted to give you what you want; you want to feel like you're floating on warm air? see the caterpillar. you want to knock yourself out for a while? see the caterpillar. he has just about everything! except a mushroom to make you physically shrink and grow, for that- you want judas. ~ written by ashley

age in numbers — tweedle dee — f. last
tweedle dee is quite content with being considered the more intelligent of the pair, and often announces that he is the eldest, too, though neither have proof to either prove or dispute this claim. he is almost constantly seen with his brother, taking delight in games and riddles, and the occasional battle- taken with utmost sincerity, of course! ~ written by ----
Payton Carrick

34 — tweedle dum — f. last
tweedle dum is often considered to be the less intelligent of the pair, though he hardly thinks this fair at all, knowing it's because of his name. he and his brother are very rarely seen apart, and love nothing more than games and riddles- and the occasional battle, which they take very seriously indeed. ~ written by ?

Known Figures

taken
35 — jabberwocky — g. butler
a monster, the thing that the children of wonderland and, much later, the children of england were told about to keep them behaving. the thing everybody feared. now bound to the form of a human, he is no less vicious, although has struck an allegiance with the cheshire cat. still very much a monster, despite deceiving appearances. he thrives in causing terror and knows exactly when to strike. ~ written by alex
Warrick D'Aubigne

33 — bandersnatch — a. warren
he thought his life was over when he developed some inkling of compassion, thanks to alice's kindness- and then he was made human. of course, he still has that aggression and his reputation, but deep down he fears everyone knows he's not quite the same; he's apparently easier to approach, much to his displeasure. however, like the jabberwocky, he's still more than happy to hunt the occasional, unfortunate human. sadly, he has to balance it out with keeping the queen happy, and proving his loyalties through menial tasks. ~ written by fini
Tempest Mirakel

25 — jub jub bird — k. scodelario
the jubjub bird is the last of her kind, and quite irritated over that fact. self preservation is in her blood, and she's quick to turn to violence if she feels threatened; after all, her kind were almost hunted to extinction. while not as terrifying as the jabberwocky, caclulating as the cheshire cat or as strong as the bandersnatch... the jubjub bird is still a monster of legend, and one to be feared. ~ written by raeni
Aria Judd

32 — the baby/pig — m. fassbender
it's a little awkward, going from baby to pig in just a few moments- but generally, he doesn't talk about that. after all, he's human again now, just a good few years too late. the only characteristic of a pig he kept, thankfully, is the appetite- but he's not too keen on meeting up with the duchess again. honestly? he's just very, very confused about a great deal of this, and still doesn't know why he became a pig, of all things. ~ written by alice

age in numbers — dodo — f. last
the dodo has a brilliant mind, but tempers it with sheer laziness. he's always coming up with ideas for new inventions, but the labour to construct them falls on the shoulders of whatever unfortunate he manages to bully into it. on the side he's a fashion expert, wearing only the most flamboyant of clothes. he's generous, at least- and need only be asked to shower others in expensive gifts and garments; a little flattery will get you a long way with this one. ~ written by ---
First Last

age in numbers — bill — f. last
a helpful soul with surprising strength- what bill lacks in intelligence and common sense he makes up for with a wonderful personality and a willingness to help in any situation. the dodo quite often takes advantage of his good nature, but bill doesn't seem to mind. he's a gentle soul, and always willing to aid his friends. ~ written by ---

age in numbers — carpenter — f. last
the carpenter, like bill, is a well meaning yet somewhat gullible individual. he falls for the walrus' promises every time, even if the man ate all the oysters and left none for his hard working companion. the carpenter, too, possesses surprising strength- but unlike the lizard, has a temper than surfaces quickly and dissipates just as quickly; usually when he's heard an apology. ~ written by ---
First Last

age in numbers — walrus — f. last
above all- the walrus is conniving and lazy. he seems to care a great deal for the carpenter, but whether or not this is a manipulation is unclear- for he is above all, selfish. he likes to think himself of a noble class, but considering his clothing is usually less than pristine, this is clearly not the case. skilled at convincing others to do his bidding, though usually only the weak willed will comply- he's not exactly one of wonderland's best beloved citizens. ~ written by ---

27 — gryphon — b. urie
at first- the gryphon refused to believe that london even existed; but once he was convinced to make the journey through the looking glass, he found he liked what he saw. he enjoys the finer things in life. he loves a good puzzle, too, and music- he just wishes the mock turtle would take time to enjoy life with him a little more. ~ written by tay
Pierre Bouchard

36 — mock turtle — a. brody
the mock turtle has always been quite the melancholic soul, and this has translated over to his new form, too. he almost always expects the worst and isn't too sociable, though he's stayed close by the gryphon- a loyal companion to the end. still has a good singing voice, too. ~ written by bro

The Flower Garden

taken
31 — red rose — n. dormer
the red rose has always been the mother of the group. indeed, it's what she thinks she was created for- looking after the others. as such, even when gifted with a human body, she still lives her life for her siblings, and doesn't often pause to think what she might want. her part in the jabberwocky's capture is bound to catch up with her. ~ written by eve
Antoinette Beaumont

age in numbers — white rose — f. last
the white rose always looked up to the red rose, given that the latter has always been a mother to the group. yearning for something different, she looks to london with hope. ~ written by ---

age in numbers — daffodil — f. last
one of the happiest flowers is without a doubt the daffodil. when spring comes around she is in her absolute element, and is always laughing and joking around with the others. one of the most welcoming, she was initially thrilled to bits when alice came in amongst them but upon realising she was a weed, was quick to start "playfully" bullying her for the amusement of her siblings. now and again she needs a reminder from one of the others, usually the red rose or the white rose to calm down a little as she has a tendency to go overboard or get too excited.

age in numbers — daisy — f. last
the daisy was always close to the white rose, and this hasn't changed since they became humans. one of the more fun loving flowers, she is as eager to explore london as the white rose. though with the rabbit hole and the looking glass shut she's bound to wonderland, she too misses the freedom london provided. ~ written by ---

age in numbers — dandelion — f. last
when the dandelion first came to the garden, the flowers were (understandably) a little uncertain of him. after all, he was a weed, and weeds did not rightfully belong in the flower garden. however, he managed to attract the attention of the tigerlily, and it was her affection for him that allowed him to stay. after a while, he became part of the family and is affectionately referred to by all as their brother. ~ written by ---

25 — larkspur — a. moore
after alice's death and following the change, the larkspur fled wonderland as one of the first. with the portals being closed, she is trapped in wonderland following a visit to one of her sisters and she is not happy about it. ~ written by cera

twenty-five — lily — r. mara
the lily is often used as a funeral flower, and it couldn't be more apt. the lily was never a particularly cheerful soul, perhaps even rivalling the mock turtle with her melancholy at times. she was always a worrier, and the red rose frequently tried to reassure her to no avail. that wasn't to say she didn't have her cheerful moments, but she was frequently prone to anxiety and weeping. when alice came, she was one of the first to reject her presence, worrying about the influence she might have on the younger flowers. yet when she heard of alice's death, she mourned for weeks. one of the more emotional flowers, she often finds herself teased by tigerlily. ~ written by mira
Trista Rafferty

twenty — pansy — l. collins
the youngest flower in the garden and thus the main subject of the red rose's worry and mothering, the pansy is the baby of the group. fun loving and excitable, she is perhaps the polar opposite to the lily and frequently tries (in vain, most of the time) to cheer her up. she finds herself looking up to some of the more adventurous flowers such as the larkspur (though does not know of her sisters shadier deeds), the white rose, the daisy and the tigerlily and wishes that she could be like them. ~ written by ronnie

age in numbers — tiger lily — f. last
the tiger lily was always one of the more boisterous flowers: she knew what she wanted and often got it, and was always asking those who passed through the garden for stories about gallant knights and ferocious monsters. beneath her fierce nature lay a romantic soul, however, and when she saw the dandelion she fell in love instantly. it was her affection for him that compelled the red rose to allow him to stay. ~ written by ---

age in numbers — tulip — f. last
the tulip has always been close to the violet and it's very much visible now, that they're human. always together, they behave like twins. she is highly creative and her voice is almost as good as the red rose's and the white rose's, she often entertains small groups of wonderlanders. she misses life as a flower (as does the white rose), but appreciates the opportunities and freedom that humanity offers.

age in numbers — violet — f. last
the violet was always interested in the flowing gowns of the ladies who visited the garden, and as such it came as no real surprise to anyone that she embraced fashion wholeheartedly when granted a human body. she was already prone to dressing up her sisters and the poor dandelion. roping the tulip along with her, the two of them managed to get some starter money from the cheshire cat, and opened up a clothes store of their very own in the heart of wonderland. together with the tulip, she sketches up designs mixing wonderland fashion with that of london, waiting for the day of the looking glass opening with impatience.
